The Story of KAO.PIAK.SEN

  KAO.PIAK.SEN is a name that resonates with delicious local cuisine and tells the remarkable journey of Vietnamese migrants during the Vietnam War, who found new beginnings in Udonthani, located Northeastern of Thailand.
 

  KAO.PIAK.SEN was founded by a grandmother who, during the turmoil of the Vietnam War, settled in Udonthani, bringing with her the rich culinary traditions of her homeland. Starting from a humble street food trolley, she created a beloved local restaurant renowned for its legendary dish, "Kao Piak Sen", a special Vietnamese Noodle Soup. This dish, featuring rice noodles simmered in a flavorful pork rib soup, has been a best-seller since 1978. Over the past 46 years, it has become a cherished local delicacy in Udonthani and neighboring provinces.
 

  KAO.PIAK.SEN is more than just a name; it embodies the profound cultural transformation and the enduring spirit of a family. The journey of this dish reflects the integration of Vietnamese culinary traditions with local Thai culture, highlighting the resilience and adaptation of Vietnamese migrants.
